Trading full-time since 2001 and helping new traders learn trend trading the Dynamic Trader way.
At The Dynamic Trader, we share our trend trading strategies so traders can learn to trade the markets and the trends within them. Trading with the trend is far simpler than trying to trade against it and will often provide above average returns. With our money management techniques we always protect our capital and look to use the appropriate trend trading strategy that compliments the current market condition. Our trend trading systems can be applied to any market including forex, stocks or commodities but we look for only high probability trade set ups.
Trend trading is very different to day trading. There is no requirement to watch the screen nervously all day – at the edge of the seat. In fact, trend trading is far more relaxing and accommodating, allowing a trader to maintain their current lifestyle and make money from the markets. Little time is required to analyse, enter, manage and exit a trade. Unlike many traders that use a multitude of indicators, our traders focus mainly on price action to establish the trend which simplifies the trade routine and allows for a trading edge when used appropriately. Our trading is medium to long term which greatly reduces the “noise” from the markets. We do not try to catch tops or bottoms but focus on the middle section of the trends where the ride is often smoother and the trades are far simpler. This is ideal for those that work or are busy during the day.
When I first came across technical analysis (in 2001) it immediately appealed to me. With a background in IT I set out to find a way to apply logical and probability to the chaos of the markets.
Like many people I had met then, I too initially started day trading. It was stressful and left no time for reflection on how my trading could be improved. I soon began to create tools and strategies – which needed time to implement and develop. I found longer-term trend trading and investing the perfect fit for my analytical approach to the markets.
I thoroughly enjoyed conceptualising and creating the DT tools (which can be used on a number of software packages) and continue to develop new and improved ones as technology advances.
As a self-taught trader I understand the difficulties facing new traders.
Dynamic Trader has evolved over the years as Javid and I listen to our traders and continually update and innovate the content, and presentation, of what we offer.
Within Dynamic Trade my role has always been to simplify and document Javid’s creativity, helping to make our strategies and tools easy to implement and understand.
My contribution to Dynamic Trader today is mainly back office – but am still Javid’s go-to guinea pig for his latest ideas and concepts. I help keep him on track and make sure anything new is presented in a user-friendly way so it can be easily digested by all our traders – from the most experienced to our newest members.
